Approval of Resolution for the Contract with Haven Hills Development Infrastructure Project Alder Thoman asked if there was a penalty if the completion of the project is delayed. FINANCE AND TAXATION COMMITTEE 1. Approval of Resolution for USDA-Rural Development Community Facilities Grant Motion made by Richard Thoman and seconded by Tom Miller to approve the resolution. Approval of Resolution for Special Event Permits Motion made by Tom Miller and seconded by Corinne Wartenweiler to approve the resolution. On a roll call vote, Motion Passed. 2. 2023 Fire Department Annual Report Fire Chief Al Rufer presented the 2023 annual report. 3. 2023 Police Department Annual Report Police Chief Fred Kelley presented the 2023 annual report. L. COUNCIL OF THE WHOLE 1. Green County Development Corporation Updates and Economic Development Presentation GCDC Executive Director Olivia Otte gave a presentation on the work they have been doing and how they collaborate with the City of Monroe and Green County to promote economic growth. She also spoke to economic growth in the southwest region, emphasizing that it begins with building relationships with communities and businesses. Otte highlighted the evolving trends and the need for creativity to attract and promote business in Green County. 2. 2023 MS 4 Annual Report Director of Public Works Al Gerber presented the 2023 stormwater sewer annual report. 3. BUSINESS: CLOSED a. BUSINESS CLOSED UNDER WIS. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at an election to be held in the several cities, villages, towns, wards, and election districts of the State of Wisconsin, on November 5, 2024, ten electors for President and Vice President of the United States, one for each congressional district and two for the state at-large, are to be elected.
