The Green County Highway Department is accepting price quotes for Hot Mix per ton, picked up at the plant. This material will be used on Town of Clarno for Honey Creek Road (from CTH B to Figi Road), Town of Exeter for Exeter Crossing (front Panorama to CTH CC), Town of Jordan for Smock Valley Road (from CTH M to Ullom Road), Town of Mount Pleasant for Oliver Road (from Rechsteiner Road to CTH F). Proposals are due by 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, to the Green County Highway Department, 2813 6th Street, PO Box 259, Monroe, Wisconsin 53566, opening will be at 10:00 a.m. Specifications/Quote sheets can be picked up at the above address or by calling (608) 328- 9411. According to City Ordinance 9-4-15 which corresponds to State Statute 66.0407: Every person shall destroy all noxious weeds on all lands which he shall own, occupy, or control at such time and in such manner as will effectually prevent such plants from maturing to the bloom or flower stage.
