NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that at an election to be held in the several towns, villages, cities, wards, and election districts of the State of Wisconsin, on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, the following question will be submitted to a vote of the people pursuant to law: Shall section 9m of article I of the constitution, which gives certain rights to crime victims, be amended to give crime victims additional rights, to require that the rights of crime victims be protected with equal force to the protections afforded the accused while leaving the federal constitutional rights of the accused intact, and to allow crime victims to enforce their rights in court? Notice of Pending Application for Proposed Grading

Greg Siedschlag, 6090 Dallas Lane North, Plymouth, MN 55446 has applied to the Department of Natural Resources for a permit to grade more than 10,000 square feet and install riprap on the banks of the unnamed tributary (WBIC 877800). The project is located in the NW1/4 of the NE1/4 of Section 03, Township 01 North, Range 08 East, Town of Jefferson, Green County. The project purpose is to create streambank stabilization on an unnamed tributary (WBIC 877800) to Juda Branch in Green County. The project includes 4,200 linear feet of stabilization with a 3:1 slope with critical area planting for the bank stabilization and spreading approximately 5,833 cubic yards of spoil in active crop fields. Undesirable woody species will be removed on the tops of the banks, but desirable woody species will be left in place. A track-hoe excavator, dump trucks, and a small dozer will be used to excavate the banks and stream bed. After project completion, the disturbed areas will be seeded and mulched. The Department will review the proposal provided by the applicant and any information from public comments and a public informational hearing, if requested. The Department will determine whether the proposal complies with ss. 1.11 and 30.19(4), Stats., and ch. NR 150, Wis. Adm. Code, and ensure that the required mitigation meets the standards in s. 281.36(3r), Stats. if the project impacts wetlands. The Department has made a tentative determination that it will issue the permit for the proposed activity. VOTING BY ABSENTEE BALLOT

Any qualified elector who is unable or unwilling to appear at the polling place on Election Day may submit a request to vote an absentee ballot to their municipal clerk. A qualified elector is any U.S. citizen, who will be 18 years of age or older on Election Day, who has resided in the ward or municipality where he or she wishes to vote for at least 10 consecutive days before the election. The elector must also be registered in order to receive an absentee ballot. Proof of identification must be provided before an absentee ballot may be issued. You must make a request for an absentee ballot in writing or online at MyVote.wi.gov. Contact your municipal clerk and request that an application for an absentee ballot be sent to you for the primary or election or both.
