A. CALL TO ORDER The Common Council meeting was called to order by Mayor Douglas at 6:30 PM on Monday, January 20, 2025. B. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE C. Presentation and Resolution Authorizing Membership to the Wisconsin Local Government Climate Coalition Allison Carlson, Executive Director of the Wisconsin Local Government Climate Coalition, gave a presentation outlining the coalition's mission and how it supports clean energy initiatives. Council members had the opportunity to ask questions and share their comments. A motion was made by Kranig, seconded by Knoll, to table. BUSINESS PRESENTED BY ALDERPERSONS Alder Kranig suggested that the council begin discussions on addressing homelessness in Monroe. Alder Schaeffer encouraged everyone to take a deeper look into learning about the Wisconsin Local Government Climate Coalition. P. BUSINESS PRESENTED BY DEPARTMENT HEADS Administrator Rindy reviewed the February meeting schedule, noting adjustments due to the Presidents' Day holiday on February 17 and the Spring Primary Election on February 18. The City of Monroe observes Presidents' Day, which may affect the meeting date. Additionally, the Spring Primary Election is scheduled for February 18, 2025, with polling locations open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Q. BUSINESS PRESENTED BY THE PRESS R.
