NOTICE TO THE ELECTORS OF SCHOOL DISTRICT OF BLACK HAWK LAFAYETTE AND GREEN COUNTIES, WISCONSIN

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the School Board of the above-named School District, at a meeting duly called, noticed, held and conducted on January 11, 2021, adopted an Initial Resolution entitled:

INITIAL RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $14,225,000

Said Initial Resolution was adopted pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 67 of the Wisconsin Statutes to authorize a borrowing in an amount not to exceed $14,225,000 through the issuance of general obligation bonds of the District for the public purpose of paying the cost of a district-wide school building and facility improvement project consisting of: construction of additions for academic space, a multi-purpose gymnasium and a secure entrance and office; renovations to and removal of a portion of the current school building; site and capital maintenance improvements and ADA compliance updates; and acquisition of furnishings, fixtures and equipment. Copies of said Initial Resolution and a detailed breakdown of the school building and facility improvement program to be financed with the proceeds of the proposed Bond issue are on file in the District Office located at 202 East Center Street, South Wayne, Wisconsin and may be inspected weekdays except holidays, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The School Board has called for a referendum election on the Initial Resolution to be held on April 6, 2021. Notice is hereby given that on January 13, 2021 the following ordinance was adopted by the Town Board of the Town of Cadiz:

Cemetery Ordinance

The purpose of this ordinance is to establish the supervision and rules for cemeteries located in the Town of Cadiz. The following cemeteries are owned and operated by the Town of Cadiz: · Kelly Cemetery ·Martintown Cemetery ·Michaels Cemetery · Pioneer Cemetery ·Saucerman Cemetery The Town Board shall have general supervision and control of these cemeteries, including, but not limited to, the selling of all lots and graves, maintaining accurate records of all sales, and orders for work on all private lots. The town board shall determine the cost of cemetery lots. Cemetery lots may be purchased by contacting the cemetery manager. This ordinance includes: · General provisions · Visitors’ rules · Burial rules ·Privileges and restrictions for lot owners · Monument rules This ordinance will become effective on January 20, 2021, or upon publication, whichever is later. There will be a public hearing before the Green County Zoning and Land Use Committee relative to the rezoning of a parcel of land from the Agricultural district to the Commercial zoning district.
