Any qualified elector who is unable or unwilling to appear at the polling place on Election Day may request to vote an absentee ballot. A qualified elector is any U.S. citizen, who will be 18 years of age or older on Election Day, who has resided in the ward or municipality where he or she wishes to vote for at least 28 consecutive days before the election. The elector must also be registered in order to receive an absentee ballot. Proof of identification must be provided before an absentee ballot may be issued. You must make a request for an absentee ballot in writing. Contact your municipal clerk and request that an application for an absentee ballot be sent to you for the primary or election or both. You may also submit a written request in the form of a letter. Your written request must list your voting address within the municipality where you wish to vote, the address where the absentee ballot should be sent, if different, and your signature. NOTICE TO THE ELECTORS OF SCHOOL DISTRICT OF MONROE GREEN COUNTY, WISCONSIN

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the School Board of the above named School District, at a meeting duly called, noticed, held and conducted on January 11, 2021, adopted an Initial Resolution entitled: INITIAL RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $5,600,000 Said Initial Resolution was adopted pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 67 of the Wisconsin Statutes to authorize a borrowing in an amount not to exceed $5,600,000 through the issuance of general obligation bonds of the District for the public purpose of paying the cost of a school facility improvement project at Northside Elementary School consisting of: HVAC, safety and site improvements; remodeling for ADA compliance; capital maintenance and building infrastructure improvements, including roof and water main replacement, and lighting and technology updates; and acquisition of related furnishings, fixtures and equipment. Copies of said Initial Resolution and a detailed breakdown of the school facility improvement program to be financed with the proceeds of the proposed Bond issue are on file in the District Office located at 925 16th Avenue, Suite 3, Monroe, Wisconsin and may be inspected weekdays except holidays, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The School Board has called for a referendum election on the Initial Resolution to be held on April 6, 2021.
