MONROE— Hosted by St. John’s United Church of Christ in cooperation with the Southwest Wisconsin ADRC will be a wisdom and wellness dementia seminar.
It will feature former Wisconsin Governor Martin J. Schreiber and author of My Two Elaines and Bonnie Beam-Stratz, ADRC Dementia Care Specialist. Participants will learn and better under-stand types of dementia and the 10 warning signs, “normal” vs. “not normal”, aging of the brain, risk factors and reduction/prevention strategies.
The forum will be held from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28 at St. John’s UCC Fellowship Hall 1724 14th Street, Monroe. A light lunch will be provided.
