BELOIT - After 16 years at the helm, Angela P. Moore will retire from her position as CEO of the Girl Scouts of Badger Council. In addition, three long-term employees are retiring from the Girl Scouts of Badger Council, effective May 31, as the Badger Council moves forward with its plan to merge with two and one-half other area Girl Scout councils into a single, high-capacity council. The new council, Girl Scouts of Wisconsin-Badgerland Council Inc., becomes official on June 1.
The three employees are Girl/Adult Volunteer Services Director Deb Broge, Registrar Terri Schmale and Camp Oakwood Knoll Site Manager Tom Box. Broge has been with the council for 12 years, Schmale for 20 years and Box for 10 years. A public reception was held on Wednesday, May 27 at the Girl Scout Program Center, 1201 Big Hill Court, Beloit.
