ALBANY — Albertson Memorial Library, 200 N. Water St., Albany is hosting a presentation entitled “Wisconsin English” by University of Wisconsin-Madison Language Sciences Professor, Joe Salmons at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13.
The presentation, including plenty of audience participation, will explore the kinds of English spoken in Wisconsin, including pronunciation, words and word forms, and grammar.
It will cover how the key features of Wisconsin English are changing and becoming more distinct today.
