MONROE - Wisconsin Bank and Trust, 1717 10th St., announced separate donations of $25,000 each to two Monroe-based non-profit organizations, the Monroe Arts Center and Green County EMS.
The bank will contribute the funds over a five-year period, beginning this year.
"The Monroe Arts Center and Green County EMS are making our community a better place," said Ron Markham, market president for Wisconsin Bank and Trust. "We feel privileged to support both organizations and extend our thanks for all they do for the enrichment and well-being of everyone in the Monroe area."
The Monroe Arts Center, 1315 11th St., nurtures appreciation for the arts and creative activity through year-round exhibits and programming, including its Performances in the Schools program.
Green County EMS, a community service organization founded in 1974, serves the public as a team of volunteer professionals by providing quality emergency care, education and community service.
