FREEPORT - An organizational meeting for the 2010 Freeport Cruise Night will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1, at the Freeport Area Chamber of Commerce office, located at 27 W. Stephenson Street, Freeport.
Individuals and groups are encouraged to attend to learn more about Cruise Night and the opportunities for involvement in the event. Volunteers are needed on the Planning Committee to help lead the 2010 Cruise Night. A presentation will be offered at the meeting highlighting the activities of the event and the planning process.
Highlights included the burn out and muffler rapping contests, live music, a wide selection of food from various not for profit vendors, and of course a huge number of classic cars. Cruise Night is a 31-year tradition in Freeport and everyone is invited to help the tradition continue.
