Graduation Stock

JUDA — Shad Hanson, grandson of Tim and Deb Myers, recently was awarded National Mutual Benefit’s National Volunteer Service Scholarship. This scholarship honors volunteer action in a member student’s community or school as living out NMB’s motto: People Helping People in Time of Need.

As an involved community member, Hanson has devoted numerous hours helping others and improving his community. He started volunteering at age 11 and attends Rockford Career College, majoring in veterinary science. Established in 1902, National Mutual Benefit is a not-for-profit fraternal benefit society headquartered in Madison. Each year, NMB members donate time volunteering and serving families in their local communities.
