MONROE - U.S. Cellular understands that times are tough for Wisconsin schools, and that is why they have decided to call on the communities it serves to help their local schools.

U.S. Cellular has a program called "Calling All Communities" through which it will be granting 10 schools $100,000 each. A total of $1 million will be given away to public and private schools. The grants can be used for any purpose. All K-12 public and private schools in the community are eligible to win.

To participate, anyone can simply go into a U.S. Cellular store between December 3 and January 15 and ask to fill out a Calling All Communities pre-paid postcard. Participants can vote one time for one school. There is no purchase required in order to vote.
