ALBANY - The Albany United Methodist Church's "Daughters of the King" will feature guest speaker Vicki Markham from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23 at the Albany United Methodist Church, 105 S. Mill St.
Markham will talk about "real thankfulness." Her talk encourages women to walk with the Lord, and the stories she shares are humorous and encouraging. She is married to Kent Markham, and they have eight children ages 7-25. Vicki is the daughter of Diane and Bob Bergman of Brodhead. She has spoken to many different churches and at a variety of women's events across Wisconsin and Illinois.
