MONROE - The Behring Senior Center has arranged a bus trip to the Dane County Regional Airport to welcome home the veterans returning from the Badger Honor Flight.
A bus will leave the center at 6 p.m. and return at 11:30 p.m. Sept. 24. This special "Welcome Home" trip is open to the public, regardless of age.
The price of $16.50 includes bus fare to and from the airport. There will be no stop for a meal, but participants may take food and drink on the bus or purchase items at the airport concession area. Chairs may not be available for everyone at the airport. Space is limited so those interested should sign up as soon as possible.
