DARLINGTON - Area residents should return their entry forms this week for the Darlington Sons of the American Legion Squadron's 2016 sweepstakes.
The drawings for cash prizes will be Saturday at the Legion Post just prior to the start of the Friendship Fund Auction at 7 p.m.
All proceeds from the sweepstakes support SAL projects, which include maintenance at the post, the Avenue of Flags on Main Street and state and national programs that benefit veterans and their families.
Sweepstakes entry forms were mailed to the majority of Darlington area residences in August and also will be available at the Legion Post Saturday night.
