BRODHEAD - St. Peter Lutheran Church, 1708 West 6th. St., Brodhead, is hosting its 2nd annual Vacation Bible Day camp program for all area children from July 14 to 18. Hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

Volunteers from St. Peter's are teaming up with Camp Phillip day camp staff to bring to the children an exciting, enjoyable, as well as educational day program and setting without ever leaving church grounds. From the opening assembly to the closing camp ceremony, children will enjoy all the fun of summer camp, such as adventure, crafts, games, snacks, camp songs, plus important lessons about God, faith, and values.

The theme for this year's camp is: "Running Wild." There is no cost to be a part of this summer Bible day camp, and all children who are entering kindergarten through the seventh grade are welcome to attend. Lunch and snacks will be provided for everyone who desires them.

Register your child/children by phone or by mail. Call St. Peter Lutheran Church at 897-2092 to register by phone, or to have the registration forms sent to you. Limited local transportation will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Early registration is encouraged.

Camp Phillip is a camp run by an association of Wisconsin Synod Lutheran churches, an association of which St. Peter Lutheran is a member. Camp Phillip is located about two miles from Wautoma. They host many different age group week-long and week-end camps, and they also host specialty camps and spiritual retreats (singles, single parents, family and marriage retreats).
