MONROE - The Rev. Todd Hackman will be installed as senior pastor of St. John's United Church of Christ during an installation service at 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23 at the church, 1724 14th St.
A potluck dinner will follow in the church's Fellowship Hall. The event is open to the public.
Hackman comes to St. John's after serving as associate pastor at Swiss United Church of Christ in New Glarus. A native of Columbia, Mo., Hackman is a graduate of Eden Theological Seminary in St. Louis and served at congregations in Quincy, Ill., and Owensville, Mo., prior to coming to Wisconsin.
While in seminary, he met his wife, Heide, who serves as pastor of First United Church of Christ in Belleville. She will give the message on Sunday. Also participating in the service will be the Rev. Kent Ulery, associate conference minister for the Wisconsin Conference of the United Church of Christ.
