MONROE — Caleb Bunker is the 2020-2021 S.O.A.R. Student at Woodford State Bank. The S.O.A.R. acronym stands for Student Occupation and Academic Readiness. 

The S.O.A.R. program is a partnership with the Monroe High School, and allows students to earn high school credit, gain valuable work (career) experience while earning money as an intern. 

Interns at Woodford State Bank will learn about the many job opportunities within the banking industry, while experiencing hands-on learning throughout the different departments. It also connects the classroom to the “real world” and expands their awareness of future career options.
