MONROE - Monroe Sons of Norway Ostestaden Lodge will hold a Norwegian bake sale from 9 a.m. to noon or until sold out on Saturday, December 6, at Wisconsin Community Bank in downtown Monroe. Lefse, sandbakels, rosettes, krumkake, breads, pies and other goodies will be sold.
Also, Monroe Sons of Norway, Ostestaden Lodge, will meet Thursday, December 11, for their annual Christmas potluck and meeting. The gathering will be held at the former Resurrection Lutheran church building north of the Ludlow Mansion in Monroe. Bring a dish to pass and table service. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m., but the coffee pot will be on early. Come for holiday fun, food and fellowship. Guests are always welcome.
