The Riemer Family Farm was one of five farms to offer free tours in Sylvester Aug. 5 as part of the Soil Sisters culinary event Aug. 3 to 5 celebrating Wisconsin’s family farms led by women. The organization celebrates rural life in and around the farming communities of Monroe, Brodhead, New Glarus and Blanchardville with a focus on organic and local, farm-to-table practices.
