Vicki Schuur, of Monroe, stands in front of the courthouse on Monday, Nov. 13. Schuur won Main Street Monroe’s 50/50 raffle by picking the closest time the courthouse renovation would be completed. Main Street Monroe defined the project as the clock tower bell ringing and all scaffolding being removed. Vicki chose Nov. 8 because it’s her father’s birthday. A fundraiser for its downtown programming, Main Street sold 300 tickets. The earliest date anyone picked was May 3, while six were for 2024, and two 2025 dates were chosen.
