JANESVILLE - Carolyn Terkla, Monroe, was named a winner of scholarships that were provided by the Wisconsin Hospital Association Foundation.
Terkla was one of two Blackhawk Technical College students studying in health related fields to be been named a winner.
The scholarships are awarded to students who are in their last semester of study in a two-year health care related program and who carry a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. The final semester scholarship covers a student's tuition, books and fees up to $2,000.
Terkla is in the physical therapy assistant program.
