Ben Gilbert, Juda, a freshman at University of Wisconsin-Platteville, received the Wisconsin Rural Opportunities Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to students in the School of Agriculture who are Wisconsin farm residents and have financial need. Recipients must show academic achievement.

Gilbert is a 2008 graduate of Juda High School. He is the son of Brad Gilbert, Monroe, and Tina Morris, Juda.
