JANESVILLE - Mercy Health System announced it will be awarding 12 scholarships in May. Scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors pursuing a degree in the medical field.
There will also be one $1,000 scholarship to be awarded to a person of minority or veteran status living in Mercy's Wisconsin or Illinois service areas.
The scholarship is available to all individuals pursuing a post-high school education in the health care/medical field.
Application submissions are due Friday. Scholarship forms are available at the guidance offices of area high schools, universities and colleges, or by contacting Kelly Schmig, human resources, at 608-314-2323.
