MONROE — Mystery author Bill Ross has published his seventh book in the Monroe Mystery Series.

The book, titled “Who Killed Fritz Zuber?,” is set in Monroe and chronicles the investigation of a mysterious dead body found in the Eugene Hotel in 1972. Was it a suicide or murder? Police Chief Brandon Johns and Detective Samantha Gates become very frustrated when all the people of interest they interview are lying to them. Will they sort through all the smoking mirrors, deception and entanglements to lift the veil behind all this duplicity and catch the killer?

Ross is writing this series of fictionalized books to lift up the Swiss culture and the quality of life shared in Monroe and Green County for tourism. This book is available for sale, in addition to the other six books in the series, at the Monroe Chamber of Commerce. The popular series is also available at the National Historic Cheesemaking Center and on Amazon.
