MONROE - The School District of Monroe has named 82 students in grades five, eight and 12 as Presidential Academic Achievement Award winners.

The President's Education Awards Program recognizes students who have made a personal commitment to excellence. To receive the recognition, students must maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher for their respective elementary, middle and high school careers.
