Stephanie Pollock after receiving BEE Award May 17.

MONROE — Primary Care Medical Assistant Stephanie has been named the newest recipient of Monroe Clinic’s BEE Award. Stephanie has been a member of the Monroe Clinic team for 6 months and has been a dedicated vaccinator in Monroe Clinic’s COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic.

Stephanie was nominated by Marketing & Communications Consultant, Rebecca Bordner. “I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with Stephanie in the COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic when documenting patient experiences,” Bordner said in her nomination. “She makes an effort to connect with every person who comes to her station. She keeps the experience light and positive to calm nerves about needles and celebrates with each patient this joyous moment. People always leave Stephanie’s vaccine station with a smile on their face.”

The BEE Award was created to recognize any non-nursing staff member who demonstrates excellent quality care, extraordinary compassion, focus on the patient and the patient’s needs and effective collaboration with other members on the patient-care team.

Monroe Clinic asks the community to help spotlight the extraordinary contributions of their staff, like Stephanie, by nominating them for the BEE Award. Nomination forms are available online at www.
