MONROE - In the intimate ambience of the Minhas Craft Brewery's Lazy Mutt Lounge, the Monroe Arts Center presents a special night of lively poetry titled "Under the Influence," from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 23.
Along with enjoying complimentary brews courtesy of Minhas Craft Brewery, this event gives poetry hounds the opportunity to relax, unwind, and enjoy an evening listening to the poetic works by members of the Madison-based, award-winning Prairie Fire Poetry Quartet, John Lehman, Shoshauna Shy, Richard Roe, and Robin Chapman.
This event is free and open to the public, and reservations are not required. Doors to this event and the Lazy Mutt Lounge will open at 6:30 p.m. Seating is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. Patrons may use the Minhas front office entrance located at 1208 14th Avenue, or the gift shop entrance on 13th Street.
