Platteville: SBDC offers free help for small biz owners

PLATTEVILLE - The Southwest Wisconsin Small Business Development Center offers free counseling sessions for individuals interested in starting their own businesses. The counselor can assist with any questions or areas you may need assistance with to start a small business. There are many resources from local business development organizations that can also be provided.

Blackhawk Technical College, Monroe, will host counseling sessions on Fridays, May 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30.

A farmer's market managers workshop is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. on May 6 in Shullsburg.

The University of Wisconsin Extension office at 627 Washington St., Darlington, will host counseling sessions on May 7.

Anyone who is interested in starting their own business can set-up an appointment by calling the Small Business Development Center at (608) 342-1038.
