NEW GLARUS — Ryan Dull is the recipient of the 10th annual William C. and Margaret L. Parmer Scholarship. In the ten years since inception, the Scholarship has awarded $50,000 to medical students.

The recipient must be from Green County and have been accepted or enrolled in Medical School. Margaret’s husband, William, passed away in 2005 and this was something they had often talked about doing. It has been a wonderful experience for Margaret to see her vision come true and meet the recipients each year.  

Dull is a 2016 graduate of New Glarus High School and is in his second year at the Medical College of Milwaukee. Upon completion of medical school, Ryan’s career goal is to be in a hospital/community, with an interest in Ophthalmology or Psychiatry.
