Optimist Bike Safety Rally set for April 29

MONROE - The Monroe Optimist Club Bike Safety Rally will be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon April 29 at the Monroe YMCA parking lot, for students in 4K through sixth grade. Kids can ride through the obstacle course to improve riding skills and should bring their own bikes and helmets.

The Monroe Police Department, Fire Department and Green County EMS will be on hand and the UW med flight helicopter will be arriving at about 10 a.m. Bike helmets will be available for sale and there will be a drawing for a bike at noon; the winner must be present to win.
