NEW GLARUS — The New Glarus High School SkillsUSA team showcased their talent and dedication at the recent SkillsUSA District Competition held in Beloit, bringing home multiple awards across a range of technical and leadership events.

New Glarus students earned top honors, including three Gold, three Silver, and one Bronze medal, demonstrating excellence in hands-on skill, creativity, and professionalism.

In addition to these impressive results, State SkillsUSA Secretary Leah Missig had the opportunity to address the district competitors, sharing her personal story about how SkillsUSA has helped shape her leadership, confidence, and career goals.

“We are incredibly proud of all of our members,” said Tyler Bass, New Glarus SkillsUSA Advisor.  “Their hard work, professionalism, and dedication to their crafts truly represent the spirit of New Glarus High School.”

SkillsUSA is a national organization that empowers students to become world-class workers and leaders through career and technical education. The New Glarus team continues to build momentum as they prepare for upcoming state-level competitions.
