NEW GLARUS - The New Glarus Public Library is offering digital transferring services this week.
People with old slides, negatives and photographs can take them to the library at 319 2nd St. from today through Saturday to transfer them onto a flash drive. The library will have digital scanning equipment for public use, including a Fujitsu ScanSnap iX500 Dujplex Document Scanner, Wolverine SNaP-14MP Film Scanner and a VuPoint Magic Wand (handheld scanner). People using the service need a USB flash drive on which to save the digital content so it can be taken home.
All staff members will be trained and ready to demonstrate how to use the equipment.

The library is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.
