MONROE - The Monroe United Methodist Church is preparing to Power Up for this year's Vacation Bible School. Starting Sunday, Aug. 3, though Thursday, Aug. 7, from 6 to 8:15 p.m., all ages are invited to power up for "Power Lab, Discovering Jesus' Miraculous Power." Join one of the classes for preschoolers, elementary age, middle school, senior high students and adults. Nursery care is also available.
