MONROE - Monroe Theatre Guild will be performing A Christmas Carol again this year, but with a new twist. An original script, written by Monroe's own Father Michael Klarer, will be making its debut performance the first two weeks of December, 2009. For publicity purposes, MTG will be holding auditions for the role of Scrooge from 5 to 6:30 p.m. only on Friday, June 12 (or by special appointment - call Dave 558-9056). Auditions will be held at the STAGE building, 910 16th Avenue, Monroe.

Auditions for the remainder of the cast will be held in September. This special production will be directed by David Bristow with Joe Peters assisting. Perusal scripts are available for checkout at the Monroe Public Library.
