MONROE - Monroe Theatre Guild announces its upcoming Youth Improv Program, taught by Mary Harris. This six-week program will be on Mondays from April 12 to May 17. Ages 8-11 will be from 3:30-4:30 p.m. and ages 11-14 (middle schoolers) will be from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Both classes will be at MTG.
Theater Games are the basis of improvisational theater and were originated by Viola Spolin.
Learn the secrets of Improv in this fun, fast-paced class. Improv is great for increasing performance, memory and creative skills. Theater games have no winners or losers. Kids love the spontaneity and have fun while learning the games.
