Mt. Olive Lenten Services start Wednesday

MONROE - Mt. Olive Evangelical Lutheran Church, on the corner of 16th Street and 16th Avenue in Monroe, is holding Lenten Services starting at 7 p.m. Wednesday evenings beginning Feb. 6 through March 12. The theme, "Crossroads, Traveling with Our Savior," will place us with Jesus traveling roads that would eventually lead him to the cross.

In addition to the Rev. Donald Swartz, the Rev. Kenneth Arndt of Elizabeth, Ill., the Rev. Philip Bigelow of Savanna, Ill., and the Rev. Paul Learman of Freeport will be speaking at different Lenten Services.

All are invited to travel our Savior's road to the cross. Supper is scheduled to be served before the service at 6 p.m.
