EAU CLAIRE - A local Monticello woman was given one of 39 scholarships that were awarded to University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students for international travel during the spring 2012 semester.
Shari Berg received the Foundation: International Education-Study Abroad Grants for $250 for her trip to Chile. Berg is a senior at UW-Eau Claire and is studying graphic design.
The UW-Eau Claire Foundation awards study abroad scholarships each semester ranging from $250 to $1,000. Applicants must be degree-seeking UW-Eau Claire students who have been accepted into the study abroad program. Recipients are chosen by a faculty and staff committee.
