MONROE - The bands of Monroe Middle School will present a spring concert on Thursday, May 22, in the Middle School's gymnasium. The Sixth Grade Band will perform a collection of works including "Funny Bone" by Lloyd Conley, "Marching The Blues" by John Kinyon, and "Ursa Minor" by Jack Bullock, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The Concert Band, Red Band and White Band begin their portion of the evening's musical fare at 7:30 p.m. Featured titles include "Music From The Incredibles" by the White Band, "Pirates Of The Caribbean" by Red Band, and "Music From Titanic" by the Concert Band.
The groups are directed by Randy Sievert and Randy Schneeberger, with Matt Turek as teaching assistant. The public is invited.
