MONROE - Starting A Small Business is a class being offered at the Monroe Campus of Blackhawk Technical College for the convenience of local persons who may be potential small business owners or entrepreneurs.
The class is designed to assist persons who are thinking about starting their own business or those already operating who may need some reinforcement.
The basic steps and concerns in getting a successful business started will be discussed and participants will also cover the fundamentals of developing a business plan and application of them in preparing their own plan.
The class is scheduled to start on Wednesday, Jan. 30, and meet from 6 to 8:30 p.m. for six sessions. This is a new start date.
