Monroe native Soderberg starring in 'West Side Story'

NEENAH - Nathan Soderberg, a native of Monroe and 2007 graduate of Monroe High School, has the lead male role of Tony in the musical "West Side Story," now showing at the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley theater in Neenah.

The musical opened Thursday and shows at 7 p.m. nightly through this weekend, with a final 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday.

This is the second time Soderberg has appeared in a musical at UW-Fox Valley theater. He previously starred in the musical "RENT." While attending MHS, he was involved in several musical productions, including the role of Ren in the production of "Footloose" and the role of Riff in "West Side Story," as well as several musicals at Monroe Theatre Guild and the Monroe Arts Center's annual community talent shows.
