MONROE - The Monroe Public Library will be hosting two special programs in the month of October.

A scavenger hunt is set for Oct. 17 at the library. To register, visit www.monroepubliclibrary.org by Oct. 12.

On Oct. 27, a "Cake and Canvas" program will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. To register, visit the teen service desk at the library, 925 16th Ave., by Oct. 20.
