MONROE - On Oct. 17, the Monroe High School choirs performed their fall concert "Traveling the Road," featuring the MHS Chamber Choir, Concert Choir and Women's Choir.

The choirs performed music by Franz Schubert, Susan LeBarr, Stephen Hatfield and more. The concert included a feature of "Pure Imagination" to pay tribute to the late Gene Wilder and announce the upcoming MHS fall musical "Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka." The Chamber Choir featured a tribute to veterans with "in Memoria Aeterna" (translated to "In Eternal Memory") by Antonio Vivaldi.

The next performance is the Holiday Concert on Dec. 8.
