MONROE - Monroe Garden Club's first meeting of the season is 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, at the Behring Senior Center of Monroe. The Late Bloomers Violet Club will present a program about growing and caring for African violets. Butchard Floral Gardens, Victoria, Vancouver Island, British Columbia will be the garden project. New plants for 2008 will be discussed. Bring recipes for breads, muffins and rolls. Also, $5 dues will be collected and garden club program books distributed.
