MONROE — The Monroe Arts Center invites the public to take a deep dive into all things Urban Sketching. This one-day workshop will walk participants through all the materials and a plethora of subject matter to get them inspired. The workshop will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21 at the Monroe Arts Center.
Led by instructor, Bonnie Schetski, this class will cover the basics of line, shape, value and color theory. After each lesson participants will put into practice what they just learned and get immediate feedback and encouragement. This class is designed for all ages. Children under 18 are eligible, and must be accompanied by an adult who is also a paid registrant. There are different registration fees for adults and children under 18 years.
