MONROE - Maurices is celebrating the anniversary of its store in the West Court Mall by donating $500 to a local non-profit organization. Store Manager Connie Miller states, "It's a wonderful experience to be a part of this community and we're excited about the coming year. We believe in giving back to the communities we are a part of and want to thank everyone for supporting our store. What is exciting about this donation is that our customers determine the charity that will receive this award. It's another way for us to support an organization that is important to our customers."

Nominations for local charities will be taken from July 12 to July 27. The nominations will be tallied and the charity with the most customer votes will be awarded the donation.
