MONROE - The Green County Master Gardeners will be holding its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 24 in the multi-purpose rooms at the Green County Justice Center, 2841 6th St., Monroe.
The meeting will feature a session by Deb Pendray on the topic of "Cooking with Scented Geraniums." Pendray moved to Wisconsin from Florida some years ago and has adapted to raising plants, including scented geraniums, by wintering them inside. Growing and using these plants is a passion for Pendray that she enjoys sharing with others. She has taken various classes over the years learning how to use these plants. Pendray's discussion will include recipes from a mini-cookbook highlighting scented geraniums.
The Green County Wisconsin Master Gardeners Association was formed in Green County in 2004 to provide Master Gardeners with opportunities for professional development and community service. The Green County Master Gardeners Association meets on the fourth Thursday of the month from February through October.
