Master Gardeners to tour Abraham Woods

MONROE - The South Central Wisconsin Master Gardeners Association monthly meeting will be held on April 22. The meeting will feature a tour of the Abraham Woods on Oliver Road near Albany. Car polling will be done at the Pleasant View Government Services Building parking lot at 6:30 p.m. and the tour will start at 7 p.m. The public is invited to join in the tour. Abraham Woods are maintained by University of Wisconsin and features many spring flowers along with the old trees found there. Wear sturdy shoes and dress appropriately as the tour will be held rain or shine. The tour will be lead by Cheryl Rezabek and the group plans to meet after the tour for their monthly meeting in Albany at the Albany Lanes.

The master gardeners can also answer gardening questions, from lawn care, plant propagation, flowers etc. Call UW Extension at 328-9440 for referrals to an expert gardener to answer questions.
