BRODHEAD — The annual meeting of the South Central Chapter of the Wisconsin Farmers Union will meet from 2-4 p.m. on Oct. 30 at the Riemer Family Farm, W2252 Riemer Road, Brodhead. The public is invited.

The event will include a tour of the Riemer’s pasture farm, a potluck meal, and to hear from state and local shaper leadership about the prior year and look ahead to the coming busy season, as well as elections for board seats. 

Guests are recommended to bring their own lawn chairs and a dish to pass. Beef will be grilled and provided by the Riemers. It will be a Halloween theme, and there will be prizes for best costume for those that choose to dress up.
